Patterns (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) helps you privately track how people make you feel, save personal notes, and keep receipts of meaningful moments.
The App may store information you choose to enter, including:
This information may include sensitive personal information about you and other people. Please use the App thoughtfully and avoid entering information you do not wish to keep on your device.
Pattern is designed to be local-first. Your information is stored locally on your device using the App’s on-device database.
We do not operate a server that receives, stores, sells, or analyzes the relationship data, notes, receipts, or attachments you create in the App.
If you use device backups, your device or platform provider may include App data in those backups according to your backup settings and their own privacy policies.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Your data may only leave your device if you choose to export, share, back up, or otherwise provide it through features made available by your device or operating system.
Your information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App.
You can delete individual people, logs, receipts, and attachments within the App where those options are available. Deleting the App may delete locally stored data, but this can vary depending on your device and backup settings.
We take reasonable steps to design the App with privacy in mind. However, no device, software, or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device, including using a passcode, biometric lock, and current operating-system updates where available.
